Jack looks down for a moment, thinking. He needs a job, she needs someone to help run the business. This shouldn't be too hard a decision, thought he feels like he should think about it; like this is almost too easy. Besides, she said she needed his help, and it's always been hard for him to turn someone down when they put it that way. Not to mention that she's a friend, that the reason she's in this predicament is because her husband died to save his life.
